Our Story
Built on Evidence and Community Trust
Founded in 2013 as Lanujos Consult Services, the firm was established in response to a growing need for development research that goes beyond data collection to deliver meaningful understanding of human and social dynamics. In 2023, the firm rebranded as Lanujos Global Research Partners, reflecting its growth into a mature research institution with a global outlook.
Over the years, Lanujos has evolved from a specialized consultancy into a trusted research partner, supporting complex assignments across social research, monitoring and evaluation, impact assessments, and policy analysis. Our work is rooted in the belief that sustainable development begins with credible evidence and respect for the communities it serves.

Leadership & Governance
Mr. Davie Simengwa, Founder & Lead Social Scientist
Mr. Simengwa is a seasoned social scientist with more than a decade of experience in the international development sector. His academic training includes:
- Master of Arts in Urban Sociology
- Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, specializing in Cultural Anthropology and Archaeology
Before founding Lanujos, he held senior leadership roles within global organizations, designing and managing large-scale programs tailored to marginalized communities. His leadership ensures that Lanujos combines academic rigor with practical, field-tested solutions.
